right now we are in phnom penh in cambodia. so we didn't get to far since the last time i wrote, but we have soooo many photos to share.
as we planned we stayed in bangkok a while. a week in fact. was quite nice. we didn't do that much since we were still exhausted from our kancil/borneo adventure. we mainly relaxed and went to see the grand palace one day. pretty impressive i must say!! we have tons and tons of photos...
when we left, we headed off to siem reap in cambodia, just next to angkor thom, an ancient city in the jungle that was abandoned 500 or 600 years ago and is now very stunning and beautiful. some people might know (at least one of the temples) from the movie tomb raider with angelina jolie. so we were there and we loved it.
we also visited a floating village where people just live on the lake. very poor but happy people. was quite interesting. they had a disco/bar boat, schools, a basketball court, shops and everything... just floating there.
